Richard (Rick) Reidy

is the president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Progress Software. He joined Progress as one of the original developers of the Progress® OpenEdge® application development platform. He has held numerous technical and management positions and served for several years as vice president of product development for the company’s existing and new, high-growth product lines. Reidy holds a B.S. from Boston University, is a member of BU’s Board of Trustees, past-Chairman of the Board of Overseers, and Chairman of the Leadership Advisory board of the College of Engineering.

Rob Levy

is executive vice president and chief product officer at Progress Software. He is a recognized industry leader with over 25 years of experience in leading all aspects of the enterprise software and services business. He has a proven track record of running both successful startups and large development organizations. He most recently served as the executive vice president and chief technology officer of BEA Systems and prior to that as the senior vice president and chief technology strategist at Computer Associates (CA), where he was responsible for defining, articulating and driving the execution of CA’s technology vision and strategy.

Mike Gualtieri

is a Senior Analyst at Forrester Research Inc. He has more than 20 years experience in software development and architecture and came to Forrester from Bank of America, where he worked in strategy and architecture for Web applications. Prior to Bank of America, Mike worked as a consultant, providing development, architecture, and strategy services for clients including Avery Dennison, eBay, EMC, Fleet Bank, H.J. Heinz, Liberty Mutual, NASA, and Thomas Publishing. Mike has also led teams to develop mission-critical applications in insurance, logistics, banking, manufacturing, healthcare, and Internet commerce.
